Nancy Lacore

SC-01

RED TO BLUE RACE

Nancy Lacore is a retired three-star admiral who spent 35 years in the Navy, starting as a helicopter pilot and finishing as Chief of the Navy Reserve. In that role she led about 59,000 sailors around the world and worked with Congress to get new aircraft for the Reserve. She lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband, Pat, a fellow Navy helicopter pilot, and together they raised six children. Nancy would bring South Carolina’s 1st District a commander’s discipline and long experience working with Congress, with lower costs for Lowcountry families at the top of her agenda.
