Marie Gluesenkamp Perez

WA-03

Co-Chair for Administration

Marie Gluesenkamp Perez represents Washington’s Third District with the same grit she’s carried her whole life. A fifth-generation Washingtonian and small business owner, Marie knows what it means to work with her hands, raise a family, and fight to keep a small shop running in a tough economy. She and her husband built an auto repair business from the ground up, creating good-paying jobs for their neighbors and navigating the same challenges as any working family.

Marie’s voice in Congress comes straight from her community. She’s focused on lowering the cost of everyday essentials, making sure families can access childcare and healthcare, and protecting the jobs that keep rural Washington alive. Her work isn’t about scoring points in D.C. — it’s about putting people ahead of politics and delivering results that actually matter at home.

Consistently ranked among the most bipartisan members of Congress, Marie has built a reputation for working across the aisle to get things done. She rejects the noise and partisan fights that dominate Washington and instead brings common sense to the table — solving problems the way working people expect them to be solved: directly and without excuses.

Marie, her husband Dean, and their young son live in Skamania County in a home they built themselves. She carries her community’s values into every fight in Congress: hard work, fairness, and a belief that families deserve leaders who listen and deliver.
