Amanda Marie Green is the daughter and granddaughter of veterans, a wife, and a new mom. She has made her home in the Big Bend since coming to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. For a decade she worked as an operations director and pricing expert for USAID’s largest implementing partner. In that job she cut waste from federal contracts and made sure taxpayer dollars were spent efficiently, until the agency was dismantled in 2025. Amanda would bring Florida’s 2nd District a focus on lowering the cost of gas, groceries, housing, and insurance. She would also work to support agriculture and rural development across North Florida and take on corruption in Congress.
