Dwayne Romero is an Army combat veteran, small business owner, husband, and father of three who has lived in Colorado’s 3rd District for more than 30 years. He was raised by a single mother and graduated from West Point. He earned a Bronze Star as a combat engineer in the Persian Gulf War. He later built The Romero Group into a company of about 120 employees while serving on the Aspen City Council and school board, and he was Colorado’s economic development director under Governor John Hickenlooper. Dwayne would bring western and southern Colorado a focus on lowering costs and protecting the public lands and water rights the region depends on.
